A Monessen Public Library card allows you to borrow materials and access online databases from home. A card is required to borrow items or use online resources outside the library. On‑site use inside the library does not require a card.
How to Get a Card
Apply In Person
- Visit the library during open hours
- Applicants under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian
Bring Identification
- Photo ID with current address (driver’s license, passport, or official mail)
Nonresident Cards
Non‑Westmoreland County residents may receive a free Monessen Public Library card by presenting a valid ACCESS Pennsylvania library card.
